Alison Carroll Biography

Alison Carroll was born on 27 March 1985 in Croydon, United Kingdom. She began studying gymnastics at age 7 and joined the Shirley Gymnastics Club at age 12. Alison attended the Edenham High School and trained in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre at the Urdang Academy, where she graduated in 2007.

After high school, Alison Carroll became a certified club coach in gymnastics and acrobatics, teaching junior gymnastics. She even led the junior’s team to win the British National Championships. As a gymnast, Alison Carroll has performed on various festivals in Birmingham, Cardiff, Inverness, Edinburgh, London and Portugal, among others. Carroll also performed in front of Prince Charles at an event in Westminster Abbey and appeared at the annual Liverpool British Championships.

While studying at Urdang Academy, Alison Carroll appeared in several stage productions in 2006. She performed on musical plays such as “The Squeeze,” “Silas Marner,” “A Chorus of Disapproval,” “Cabaret,” “Roar,” “Moby Dick” and “Watch This Space.” During this time, Alison Carroll worked as a receptionist in a London-based golf club and taught gymnastics at Shirley Gymnastics Club. She then auditioned for the next international “Lara Croft” model and beat hundreds of hopefuls for the coveted part.

By late 2008, Alison Carroll trained in SAS survival, combat and semi-automatic weapons training to promote the latest game “Tomb Raider: Underworld.” For her work as the Lady Croft model, Alison Carroll also traveled around the world and appeared on TV commercials, internet chats and talk shows. She also appeared on magazines such as T3 Singapore, Maxim and Waves Surfing Mag, among others.

In 2009, Alison Carroll won her first film role in the British movie “Doghouse.” She then earned her first starring role in the movie “Life is an Art.” Other recent movies of Alison Carroll include “The Kid” and “Gridiron UK.”
